The Department's Court and Tribunal Services Division administers more than 123 court locations across Western Australia.

It is responsible for managing tribunals and boards, the Sheriff's Office and the Fines Enforcement Registry, as well as providing services to victims of crime.

COVID-19: Community announcement

Important COVID-19 information for visitorsJury duty has been temporarily suspended. Letters have been posted to confirm those summoned are no longer required to attend. Jury trials that are currently underway are continuing.

If you are required to attend a court for any purpose but have concerns about COVID-19, visit the relevant Court website for the latest information.

Planning is underway to recommence jury trials while observing the WA Government physical distancing and increased hygiene guidelines. Information about how the risks posed by COVID-19 will be managed will accompany jury summonses.

Operations of the Coroner's Court

The wellbeing for all who come into contact with the coronial system is of the utmost importance to the Coroner's Court. For this reason, a number of steps have been taken as a precautionary response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Refer to the public notices.
